Pairing our verified customer ratings with our thorough trade pro screening process ensures our customers voice is being heard while providing them with the best experience in the industry. All costs for projects is paid directly to the trade professional to allow our customers 100% control over the project.

Our site also offers you the ability to build project profiles to help assign and manage trade professionals for your own projects or those of your clients.

Trade Pro

LocalTradePros was created as a way for communities to deepen relationships with local businesses and service providers. We provide trade professionals with new and creative ways to earn leads. Rather than enlisting hundreds of trade professionals to cover a wide range of territory we have designed a model that limits the amount of trade professionals assigned to each territory thereby increasing your exposure and opportunity for quality leads.
All of our trade professionals are required to go through a thorough background check which may include reputational, criminal, and identity verifications. Once your background check is complete your profile will be published to our customer base. We hold the option to update our background checks on an annual basis to ensure our site remains a safe and reliable resource for our community. Once you are active the only requirement is that your average rating stay above our golden standard. What is the golden standard? Trade professionals are required to maintain an overall average rating of 4 out of 5 stars to keep their account active. The average rating is based on how customers rate you on the following categories:
  • Being on time for their appointment with customers
  • How close their final price was to the initial quote
  • The quality of work completed
  • How well the follow up was with the customer
  • How likely the customer is to refer you to a friend or family member
Should your rating drop below our golden standard you will be notified by our support team with further information.
The most powerful aspect of our site is exclusivity with our list of service providers. We limit the number of trade professionals designated for each territory to only five per service type. This means that you will never compete with hundreds of trade professionals for the same leads. You will become part of an exclusive list of service providers offered through our site and boast the title of a LocalTradePro!
Our prices vary based on territory and service type. You can view pricing by completing the registration process and searching for available territories for your service type. All subscriptions will be billed monthly.
Once your profile is active, you and your services will be made public for customers searching in your subscribed territories. Once a customer assigns you to a project and requests to connect, you will receive an email notification as well as a text message notifying you of their requests. Simply login to your LocalTradePros account and visit the ‘My Account’ page to retrieve the customer and project lead information.
When registering, a trade professional can decide whether or not they would like to be identified as a 24/7 emergency service provider. This means, that should a customer search for only trade professionals that offer emergency services our site will narrow down the results to include your profile along with any other 24/7 emergency service provider specific to your territory. This allows for additional exposure and lead generation. Quick response times are vital for trade professionals that register as a 24/7 service providers as a delay in contact could impact your average rating.
All trade professionals are rated on the following five categories:
  • Being on time for their appointment with customers
  • How close their final price was to the initial quote
  • The quality of work completed
  • How well the follow up was with the customer
  • How likely the customer is to refer you to a friend or family member
We understand that there may be extenuating circumstances which can result in poor ratings. This is why we verify our ratings with our customers. Should your average rating fall below our threshold we will provide you with a courtesy notification with tips on how to improve your average rating. Should any trade professional continue to receive ratings below our standard after being notified the trade professional risks being removed from our list of service providers.

If your credit card is expiring soon; don’t worry, our team will send you an email a month prior to the expiration with instructions on how to update your payment information online.
